At BlueStone Feline, we aim to make the adoption process as smooth and safe as possible for both our kittens and their new families.
1. Local Pick-Up
• Local pick-up is available at our cattery.
• Appointments are scheduled in advance to ensure your kitten is ready and all documentation is complete.
• Please bring a valid ID and any agreed-upon payment to complete the adoption.
• We encourage families to spend time with their kitten during pick-up to help with acclimation and bonding.
2. Delivery
• We provide safe and reliable delivery within the U.S. and Canada via a trusted pet transportation service.
• Delivery is arranged only after:
1. Signed adoption agreement is returned.
2. Full payment (including any delivery fees) is received.
• Delivery fees vary based on distance and will be confirmed during the adoption process.
3. Scheduling
• Once payment and documentation are confirmed, we can prepare your kitten for pick-up or delivery as soon as the next available day, depending on scheduling and distance.
• Exact delivery dates and times will be coordinated with the adopter and the transportation provider.
4. Health & Safety
• Kittens are up-to-date on all vaccinations and health checks prior to pick-up or delivery.
• Health records, CFA/TICA registration papers, and any other documentation will be provided at the time of handoff.
• For long-distance deliveries, we monitor the kitten’s well-being during transport and provide updates until arrival.
5. Responsibilities of the Adopter
• Ensure someone is available to receive the kitten at the agreed pick-up or delivery time.
• Prepare a safe, quiet space at home for the kitten’s arrival.
• Follow the care instructions and health guidance provided upon adoption.
